A Home

A Home is located on a quiet street in Lärkstaden in Östermalm and is considered by many to be one of Stockholm's very best hotels. The building was constructed in 1910 as a private residence and is now run by owner Jeanette Mix, with an interior designed by British designer Ilse Crawford. The result is a hotel that feels more like an elegant home than a traditional luxury hotel.

The rooms and suites are individually decorated with a mix of Scandinavian antiques, vintage and modern design, warm materials, and open fireplaces in several of the rooms. In the common areas, there is a library, a fireplace, and an open kitchen where the chef prepares the daily menu based on seasonal ingredients – often served at the large communal table.

The hotel also features a lush courtyard with an orangery, sauna, and a small spa. A Home is perfect for those looking for an intimate and romantic city weekend with personal service, in one of Stockholm's most beautiful neighborhoods.
