Hotel Sanders is located on a quiet side street behind the Royal Theatre, just a few minutes' walk from Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. The hotel is owned and operated by former ballet dancer Alexander Kølpin and opened in 2017 in two merged townhouses from the 1800s.

The 54 rooms are personally decorated in a mix of Danish design, Parisian elegance, and English eccentricity – from small rooms inspired by old train compartments to spacious suites with fireplaces. In Sanders Kitchen, seasonal food is served from morning to night, and in the intimate cocktail bar TATA, classic cocktails are mixed in a vintage setting.
