Krusenberg Manor

Krusenberg Manor is located on a peninsula in Lake Mälaren just outside Uppsala, with a long avenue leading to the main building and a park with around a hundred apple trees. The estate was founded in the 1640s, and the current manor house from 1802 is partly built on the foundations of the old castle – in the basement, there are still vaults from the 1600s and several rooms retain their original wallpapers.

The rooms are decorated in a romantic manor style, and in the manor's salons, dinners are served using Swedish seasonal ingredients paired with wines from its own cellar. The small but careful spa offers treatments signed by Kerstin Florian, and the wood-fired saunas with large glass windows overlooking Lake Mälaren are a highlight – often followed by a dip from the pier. In the summer, the Boathouse by the water opens, and it is possible to borrow a canoe and bike or play padel, billiards, and boules.

Krusenberg is 25 minutes from Arlanda and is perfect for a romantic manor weekend by Lake Mälaren. In the fall of 2027, the manor will be relaunched with new rooms, a larger spa, and two restaurants – until then, it is open as usual.
