Nynäs Havsbad

Nynäs Havsbad is located on the island of Trehörningen just outside the center of Nynäshamn, with the sea right outside the window. The place was already a popular spa resort for Stockholm's high society in the early 1900s, and today the bathing tradition continues in a genuine and carefully renovated archipelago environment.

The hotel consists of two buildings along the shoreline: the turn-of-the-century beautiful Strandhotellet from 1907 with a restaurant and dining room, and the yellow brick Badhotellet with reception and sea view rooms. The spa is located in Havspaviljongen, the old cold bathhouse standing on stilts in the water, featuring a warm indoor pool, saunas, and relaxation area - and a dip in the sea year-round, even when the ice is present.

The restaurant serves modern Nordic flavors with a view of the sea. Nynäs Havsbad is perfect for a relaxing spa weekend by the sea, both summer and winter, and is easily accessible by commuter train from Stockholm.
