RUNO Hotel Porvoo

RUNO Hotel Porvoo is located in the heart of Old Porvoo, among cobblestone streets and the red beach huts by the river, a thirty-minute drive from Helsinki – and in the summer also by boat. The boutique hotel is housed in a converted former bank building, at the site where the city’s first inn was located and where the national poet J.L. Runeberg stayed when he first came to Porvoo.

The 56 rooms combine Finnish and Nordic design with natural materials, and in the Fireplace suites, the building's preserved original stoves remain as decoration, overlooking the main street of the old town. Up in the attic is the hotel’s sauna and spa area with treatment rooms for one or two, and in RUNO Kitchen, breakfast, weekend brunch, and dinners that reinterpret Finnish culinary traditions are served.
