Britannia Hotel

The Britannia Hotel is a historic landmark in the heart of Trondheim, founded in 1870 for British aristocrats who came here for legendary salmon fishing. After a three-year complete renovation, the hotel reopened in 2019 and is now the world's northernmost member of The Leading Hotels of the World.

Breakfast and afternoon tea are served in Palmehaven, the palm garden under a glass roof that has been the heart of the hotel for over a hundred years, and the restaurant Speilsalen has a star in the Michelin guide. Britannia Spa spans over 1,400 square meters with a heated 12.5-meter pool, a warm wellness pool beneath a starry sky, several saunas and steam baths, cold baths, and six treatment rooms.
