Sommerro is located in the old headquarters of Oslo Lysverker from the 1930s in Frogner, just a few minutes' walk from Slottsparken. The building has been revitalized as one of Oslo's most talked-about hotels, featuring 231 rooms decorated in art deco style with Nordic details.

The heart is Vestkantbadet, the historic bathhouse from the 1930s that has been restored to its original condition – with Per Krohg's protected mosaic of bathing women and seals, and saunas in an art deco setting.
