Elva Hotel

Elva Hotel is located in the small village of Skulestadmo by the Lundarvatnet lake, a couple of kilometers outside Voss – Norway's capital for adventure and extreme sports. The hotel has only 14 rooms, spread across a main building and five small detached houses, all named after rivers in the area, with large windows overlooking the lake, forest, and mountains.

The architecture has won international awards and the local materials make the houses blend into the landscape. At the main building, there are outdoor hot tubs and a wood-fired sauna, and the restaurant builds its menu on seasonal ingredients from Voss and Vestlandet – on Saturdays featuring a longer tasting menu.

Elva is perfect for an active weekend in nature with hiking, rafting, or skiing – the hotel has a shuttle to Voss gondola – followed by a sauna and a really good dinner.
